Fracture Misdiagnosis Claims & Compensation in Lancashire

Fracture Misdiagnosis occurs when a Hospital or Clinic fails to identify a bone fracture from a review of an x-ray or scan. Our experience at The Claims Partnership is that a failure to identify fractures is an increasing problem in the NHS.

Overstretched Clinicians and Radiologists in Accident and Emergency Departments sometimes do not have adequate time to properly review an x-ray, or under qualified medical staff simply miss an obvious fracture on an x-ray or scan.

A failure to identify a fracture can lead to a patient being discharged without proper treatment or without the knowledge necessary to take action to prevent their broken bone from further harm or damage.

This can lead to a more serious fracture being sustained, or sometimes a fracture fails to repair itself properly, leading to long term pain, restriction of movement and sometimes arthritis.
